My 17 hp Kubota easily handles a 60" rear mount finish mower. What I would like to know is how much more power a brush hog rotary cutter will take? I have heard it might only handle a 4' wide cutter, I have also heard that the rotary cutter does not pull as much power? What I am going to be mowing I currently cut with the Finish mower, albeit rather slowly. Any suggestions? Thanks DC Smith

Does anyone have any insight on a Kubota L260? 26 engine HP 2 cylinder. It does not appear. to be a grey and is in reasonble shape. I am wondering if it is one of the first Kubota's in this market and if so how old. I have a serial #. I also have no idea what it is worth. The hour meter says 990 hrs. Thanks D.C.Smith

The air filter is good, the fuel filter should be replaced, and the injectors and fuel pump were supposed to be done at rebuild(1996). I will follow up on these sugestions. Thank you DC Smith

I once owned a Mitsubishi 16hp 4wd with a belly mower. I used it to mow between the rows of my tree farm. Some spots in the field would become soggy and that thing would sink and get hung up on the mower. It usually took considerable time to get out. (that was a wet year) I am a proponent of rear mowers.
